Kilkenny County Council would like to invite you to participate in our online public participation events on the recently published draft Kilkenny City and County Development Plan. Due to the current public health restrictions in place as a result of Covid-19, new ways of communicating fully with the public and interested parties are required at this draft plan stage.

To this end FREE ONLINE EVENTS are scheduled for the following dates:

 Monday 25th of January at 19.00 – Eventbrite Key- “Core”

  • Overall Core Strategy and Housing

 

Monday 1st of February at 19.00 – Eventbrite Key-“Economy”

  • Economic Development inclusive of retail strategy and tourism

 

Thursday 4th of February at 19.00 – Eventbrite Key–“Climate”

  • Climate Change, Renewable Energy and Transport

 

Monday 8th of February at 19.00 – Eventbrite Key –“Heritage”

  • Natural and Built Heritage, Placemaking and all other issues

 

Interested parties can register for one or more of the above events on Eventbrite.ie, search “Draft Kilkenny City and County Development Plan + “key”, register for the event and a link to the webinar will be sent to you by return.

 There will be three key components to each webinar:

  • A short introduction
  • A presentation on the topics for discussion as covered in the Draft Plan
  • An opportunity to clarify matters related to the topics.
